The film, "FUCK", isn’t
the just a rare film. It tells situations that happens in the lives of couples.
The film from the start made me feel thoughtful and intimacy struggle of the
couples. It shows the frustrations on the face of the couples, not being able
to spend time together as a result of the stress and destruction from their
newly born baby. The film is a very interesting one from the beginning. It
brings some kind of mystery which made me to follow till the end. The film
talks about a couple who try to navigate their way into having sex, but haven’t
been able to prior to the destruction and stress from their baby.
From my perspective,
the film really reflects on what happens or what couples are supposed to expect
the moment a baby joins the family, because it tells them a lot, especially
parenting changing relationships, but even so, love and understanding can still
hold couples together. I wasn’t expecting the film to turn out how it did
because of how it started with the joy in the faces of the couple but ends up
with a touching scene about love and support.
The characters where very much realistic portraying the
stress and the tiredness. Actually, the characters of the film (the couples and
their baby) were all great at their roles, but the woman stood out for me, expressing
her emotions the more.
The cinematography was very simple and effective, with each
shot adding a meaning to the film. The shot also focuses on the characters
faces and emotions, especially with the Close-up shots which made the scene
feel more and more emotional and real. Not to forget the lighting also which
gave a cool and homely feeling helping to show closeness and the struggles.
There wasn’t much music, but that worked well. The quietness
made their feelings stand out the more. And about the dialogue, you can hear
everything clearly, from the baby to the emotional talks. I wish there could be
a memorable music from my point but I got none because I think I got carried
away by the emotions the more.
The film was indeed a great one, it was real, emotional and
somehow funny. The film had its own weaknesses and strength. It being relatable
to me is the strength the bad news is that it’s quite short. The film made me
laugh, and hopeful at the same time. I would really love to recommend this film
to others especially couples. The film teaches that parenting comes with
understanding and support
_STORY_
The film “FUCK” tells the story of a couple who try to have
intimacy after having a baby. At the start of the film, we can see the couples,
tired and stressed from taking care of the baby. They haven’t had sex in eight
months and wanted to try it that night. But things didn’t go as planned. The
baby cries, they feel frustrated, and full of stress. The beginning shows the
main problem of they wanting to have sex again after a very long period but
parenting duties makes it difficult for them.
As the film continues, they keep trying to have intimacy,
but things keep stopping them. The baby needs attention, they feel insecure,
and they are both too tired. This makes them frustrated and emotional. They
even start to wonder if the relationship has changed too much. But instead of
giving up, they opened up to each other. They talked and understood themselves.
This brings them closer. They begin to laugh and support each other, which helps
them reconnect.
At the end, they don’t end up having sex, but something more
important happens. They feel close again. They laugh, hug and realize they
still love each other even during their tough times
The protagonist of the film happens to be the couples (Adam
and Sarah) who try to make intimacy but didn’t work out for the. And the
antagonist also happens to be the baby who gave them all kinds of stress and
refusing them of their intimacy.
