The film made me feel like I was watching someone’s life beginning to unfold. Its fine detail is what makes the film so meaningful, under the frustration, the aggressive moments, and the wild hope, there is so much more. The film caught my attention from the very start of it, from the aggressiveness being portrayed by Lucy's father at the beginning. It focuses on a young lady (Lucy) who was abused by a young man by name Clark. And with the aim of her (Lucy) father teaching him (Clark) a lesson but instead, the lesson was thought to Clark by his father who happens to be service personnel. The film encourages its audiences to reflect a bit deeper. There’s a particular moment that surprised me. It was the scene where Lucy's father shifted from aggressiveness to calmness.

The characters were all stunning with their performance. Very natural, nothing out of sight. A strong one from Lucy, convey her emotions without using much dialogue. You could really feel that she was torn wanting more but feeling deeply bad in this life. That struggle, through her pain. They all felt real in their performances.

The film had a simple authentic appearance, which complemented the narrative. Certainly, Lucy's father’s actions to Clark’s house were really memorable and impactful. Lucy’s mental state was fully captured without a single word, have a feel of how bad things are going for her. Everything had an overall dimness that muted color as well. It was perfectly aligned with his (Lucy's father) mood, somewhat aggressive, and somewhat calm at a point.

The presence of music at the start of the film gave a dramatic feeling. The sounds where very clear, especially speeding of the car and sounds from the tires gave a tensed feeling. The cool transition sounds coming up from the point Lucy walked out of father to get a cold bath conveys a kind of lonely and sad feeling.

The film was very impactful for me, not being straightforward but giving a curious scene to drive audiences’ attention. The film to me was a good one. With performance so relatable, and emotional without any unreal scene. The film made me feel Lucy's father is a lonely person, even with Lucy in the house. I would recommend this film to anyone who enjoys real-life stories. It’s short, quiet, but means a lot. The story leaves us on a sad point, not knowing if Lucy is going to be okay or not.
