Movie review on light my fire 

Light my fire is a thought-provoking short film directed by Bobb Barito that explores themes of masculinity violence and cyclical nature of abuse.

        The movie was able to grab my attention from the beginning because of the complex themes used in the movie.

The movie follows a vengeful father,miles as he tracks down his daughter’s,abuser,clark and confronts him and his father.

The movie shows the complexity of human emotions and the need for healing and understanding. The film’s central theme revolves around the devastating consequences of unchecked masculinity and the struggle to overcome generational trauma.

      The use of fireworks as a symbol of rage effectively underscores the emotional intensity of the scenes. The complex dynamics between miles,Clark and Clark’s father showcase the destructive nature of toxic masculinity and the challenges of breaking free from abusive patterns. The characters in the movie delivered strong performances,bringing depth and complexity to the narrative. The actors effectively portrayed the emotional intensity and turmoil of their characters, making the story more impactful.

       The cinematography in the movie effectively captures the film’s dark and intense themes. The use of settings,lighting and camera angles enhances the emotional impact of the story. The film’s use of fireworks stands out visually,symbolizing emotional intensity. The use of colors, lighting and framing was effective in communicating the film’s themes. The soundtrack was able to elevate the narrative,making it more immersive. The sound effects were also well- balanced,enhancing the overall viewing experience.

        The film left a lasting impression complementing the narrative’s emotional intensity. The film was also able to meet my expectations.

The film evoked strong emotions due to the intense themes and dramatic storytelling.l’d recommend it to those interested in intense,thought provoking dramas and also to viewers who appreciate character driven narratives. 

       This movie has a very lasting impact due to its thought provoking themes and emotional resonance.
